Oh my, it's been a while, I'm such a bad blogger!
It's just been really busy recently chez moi. It looks like we may be moving house and that has taken up nearly all of my time - ringing estate agents and viewing houses. I don't really want to move, as I have a nice little 4 year plan that will leave me mortgage free (and able to buy my dream holiday home in Florida) but both mine and my husbands work are moving premises (what's the chances of that!) and we will have no car parking anymore, so the commute would be ridiculous for us all if we stay where we are. We'll see how it goes, but I'm not looking forward to telling my parents if this goes ahead. I currently live 5 mins away and my mother is unwell (dementia) so that makes it really hard.
Anyway, onto happier things, an FO!
Pattern: Child's First Sock in Shell Pattern from Knitting Vintage Socks
Yarn: YarnAddict Yarns Easy Care Merino Sock Yarn, colour Dream. This is hand dyed yarn I purchased from Etsy a while back, and really lovely to work with. The feel is really silky too!
I enjoyed this pattern, but found it a bit tedious at times.
Next up, a WIP:
I'm calling these John's Rambo Socks. They're just like camouflage! These are his birthday socks.
Pattern: Slipped Stitich Rib Socks from Sensational Knitted Socks
Yarn: Crystal Palace Panda Cotton, colour Fern. I must say I'm not overly happy with this yarn. It's quite heavy for socks in my opinion and it's really splitty. Although, it is really cool and comfy once knit up. We'll see how it washes, as it's quite stretchy.
Progress is coming along slowly but surely on the Tangled Yoke. I will post pics later. I'm well into the stockinette which takes forever as the rows are so long! Still, no joining up must be a good thing!
Have a good day!

Oh, it sucks to move when you don't want to! Especially if you're that close to being mortgage free. I hope it all works out somehow.
The socks are fabulous.
