My entry for the Hat Dash in the Ravelympics:
Pattern: Brother In Law Basket Weave Hat by Kody May Ramotar
Needles: 5mm
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease Worsted, 1 skein
Model: My very shy hubby who insisted his face not be seen.
This took me this afternoon to do. Go me!
And, I've finished my first sock too!
Only one more of these babies to go and I'm over the finish line in all of my Ravelympics entries.
It's official. I rock.
Modesty was always a strong point of mine (cough)

Wow, those are some socks! You couldn't go with a plain jane stockinette sock, you had to be all fancy and whip up some Embossed Leaves! Go Sinéad!
All this and blogging too! You're inspirational. I've been knitting like a mad thing on my socks to try to make sure I don't let Team Ireland down - and it's still touch and go.
Please tell me you haven't budged from the same spot on the sofa since 08.08.08, you've been knitting until four every morning and are on an intravenous drip for coffee!
You are putting all of us to shame, Super Knitter! :-) The projects look great. If only I had half of your mojo right now!
