Happy happy Joy Joy

Yay! Can you believe it's finished?

Pattern: John's Stocking Stitch Sweater of Doom (based on EZ's EPS)
Yarn: Patons Baby Fab, 5 1/2 balls
Needles: 4mm
This was the hardest two weeks of knitting ever. My little finger on mky right hand is killing me, probably from holding it out to hold the yarn and push the stitches along the needle.
Here's some front and back pics modelled by John. He only had it on him for a minute to make sure it fit, it's not his birthday until Sunday.
These were taken before I had woven the underarms.
It's a beast of a jumper, but he loves it so I'm happy.

I'm really proud of myself for not succumbing to the lure of the Clapotis, now I can start it with a clear conscience and a happy heart!
Never. again.

what a lovely jumper! Hats off for your sticking to the project of doom... Now, go and treat yourself with a little airy Claptosis ;o)

It's great! I am about to start a similar project (huge, boring, rib man's jumper in GREY, oh joy...) so the fact that you finished yours is very inspiring. I wonder what makes men favour school uniform colours so madly?!

Also, the underarms look fab from behind - I would leave them as is, lol.

Wow well done. Lovely jumper. Navy always looks well on men.

What a lot of patience and perseverence some knitters have! You should be very proud of yourself. (And you should work out roughly how many stitches are in that jumper and let him know Ü)

Well done for sticking with it! You´re turning in to a real speed knitter!
